The creation and development of mobile experience design is multi–faceted and one that requires us to be in sync with our users and their context of use.  Addressing the technical elements of mobile design is not enough.  We must widen our view on what constitutes ‘mobile friendly’ design.

In this article we explore the myriad of factors that influence ‘mobile friendly’ design and demonstrate their importance through:

  • Explaining the differences between technical, environmental and behavioural contexts
  • Showcasing why Google is an exemplary example of experience design
  • Why designers must endlessly pursue context to inform design
